Dynamech Dry Ice Blasting Service

Dry ice blasting is used across the globe as a solution for surface cleaning, surface preparation and parts finishing in a wide range of industries. It is a preferred method because it is non-abrasive, non-conductive, non-toxic and does not create secondary waste. The Dynamech dry ice blaster is the Aero 80FP, providing premium technology in a proven design.

Clean Electrical Equipment for Peak Performance.

Power Generation professionals know a key to peak performance is clean electrical equipment. However, the requirement to keep the equipment running often leads to deferred cleaning and maintenance, reduced efficiency, and in some cases, outages caused by flashover. Dry ice blast cleaning provides a non-conductive, environmentally responsible cleaning process that allows equipment to be cleaned in-place, without cool down or disassembly. In addition, the outage time typically needed for cleaning can be reduced up to 65%.

What exactly is Dry Ice Blasting?

Dry ice blasting, or dry ice cleaning, is similar to sand, bead and soda blasting because it prepares and cleans surfaces using a dry ice medium accelerated in a pressurized air stream. It differs in that dry ice cleaning uses solid carbon dioxide (CO2) pellets or MicroParticles, accelerated at high velocities to impact on the surface and clean it. The particles sublimate upon impact, lifting dirt and contaminants off the underlying substrate without damage.
